Personally Truth Wins Out thanked Apple CEO and his company for “exemplifying corporate responsibility”. It is not clear whether he was related to the subsequent deletion of the app from Apple’s online store. it also added “Google and Amazon (must) immediately stop selling and promoting the app, which dehumanizes LGBT people.”
The executive director of Living Hope Ministries said he had not been told beforehand that the app would be removed from Apple’s store and denied that it was a hate group. The BBC understands that Google intends to censor the product and will delete it if it believes it violates a ban on inciting hatred based on personal sexual orientation or gender identity.
