Actually Hollywood and television did not fabricate these Indians yet because some of these films based on a historical period. However, Those facts concerned only certain tribes of the Indians and were limited to a century.

Before Spain took over New Mexico. Horses are not known to Americans. But by the middle of the eighteenth century, there were many horses on the Great Plains. Then, one by one, the tribes began to contact the horses. Those tribes are: Cheyenne tribe, Blackfoot tribe and Arrapahoes tribe; Comanche tribe, Hmandan tribe and Crow tribe, and so on. Not only in the United States, but all over the world, the plains Indians captured the imagination of millions of people. But they are only parts of tribes among hundreds of tribes. And their way of life, the reliance on horses, took shape long after Europeans began to colonize North America.
